Elite Camp

G.G.C.'s Elite Summer Camp is reserved for goaltenders who epitomize unwavering dedication and a profound passion for the game. Led by seasoned coaches who understand the commitment required for success, our application-only program focuses on cultivating the unyielding drive of each participant. Join us and immerse yourself in an environment where dedication is celebrated, and excellence is the only standard. 

Camp Highlights

• Professional Coaching Staff: Camp programming is developed and led by current North Bay Battalion Assistant Coach and Goaltending Coach, Nate McDonald. All guest coaches are experienced in coaching or playing at the Pro, NCAA, CHL, USports and Jr. A levels. 
• Elite off-ice programming: Caleb Mady, Head of Strength and Conditioning for the North Bay Battalion and current Professor of Strength and Conditioning at Canadore College, has designed workouts and educational sessions to give our goalies insights into taking care of their bodies with themes like pre-ice preparation, post-ice recovery, and in-season/out of season maintenance. 
• Mental performance: Goalies will receive mental performance training from highly accredited and recognized professionals in their fields, giving them the tools to become mentally strong in the net. 
• Vision Training: We have partnered with Vizual Edge training software to provide all of our goalies with a visual/cognitive assessment, an introductory Vizual Edge training/education session, and one month of free Vizual Edge training. Training tools and practices will be administered daily to better equip goalies for when they hit the ice. 
• Q&A Sessions: Goalies will have the opportunity to speak with current NCAA, OHL, and Pro goalies, coaches and GM's to learn what it takes to play at the next level.
• On ice video analysis: Utilizing video review gives goalies the ability to break things down, frame by frame, to elevate their game to the next level.
• 2.5 hours of ice, daily.
